2 separate criminal incidents in Crown Heights were reported to the Shmira neighborhood patrol on Tuesday afternoon, 1 hour apart from each other.
The first incident occurred near Montgomery Street and Schenectady Avenue at approximately 1:00 pm when a group of black teenagers approached a visibly Jewish man and shoved him. They immediately fled and the victim was not injured.
The 2nd incident occurred at approximately 2:15 pm near Empire Blvd and Troy Avenue when a group of black teenagers approached a visibly Jewish man and attempted to rob him of his phone.
Shmira told COLlive they suspect that the attackers were the same or related to the group which has been terrorizing Jewish residents in recent days.

Police have no obligation to protect you. Simply search the web for “police obligation to protect” and you’ll find out that even the US Supreme Court ruled that there is no obligation.

No one said anything about police protecting. How about prosecuting those who commit violent crimes? Or is that also not required under the constitution?
Police don’t make the laws. When you have leaders who don’t prosecute criminals, it makes the jobs of police useless and they know it. They catch em, and see them on the street again the next morning.

NYC is getting away with murder. Send press releases detailing a timeline of these crimes (we know they go back to the 60s) to Fox and other media who might actually publish it. Paid officials are reneging on their responsibilities, there is overt bias against the Jewish community by both criminals and the ones who are supposed to protect the public. The drug shelters are just an added insult to injury. Why are you all keeping this a secret??

We should self regulate like a gated community with security. We have enough community members to make it work.
