Strength in numbers.
When Chabad Girls Academy, the Gan Academy, ULY Ocean Parkway, and Bnos Chomesh Academy were approached with the possibility of getting together for a joint fundraising campaign, they weren’t totally sold on the idea.
How would it all work?
Sure, they are all badly in need of funds to stay up and running, so why not just run separate campaigns? But as they spoke, it became abundantly clear that they shared much more than the need for a Charidy fundraising campaign.
They all share a holistic approach to education that is based on love and respect. Where each child is accepted as they are, no matter what, and given the tools and skills they need to thrive in the classroom, at home, and out in the world, where they are instilled with good Middos and manners, alongside the learning of Chassidus, Torah, and general studies.
They understand that giving a child a strong foundation, and the tools to build on it is perhaps the greatest gift an educator can provide because it allows them to look forward to and shape the future.
And that’s when it all clicked.
This wasn’t just about their school, their passionate staff, or their building. This was about the future of our entire community. This was about the four hundred students who wake up every day excited to learn and grow.
This is about the future of a generation.
But that future can’t happen without our entire community coming together as one, just as these schools did, to unite for a common goal, and the common good of all our children.
Please share and give generously at https://www.charidy.com/future, as every dollar will have an immediate and vital impact.
It’s up to you to empower the next generation.
wonderful schools
I wish all the schools and yeshivos in crown heights could have a day of unity where all the community can give tzedaka to the beautiful institutions in our shechuna. It would allow the donor community to plan their donations to all the schools that are dear to them and not have another campaign every other week!
Mrs. Gorkin has uplifted my daughter’s life in a way that will have lasting effects. We are forever grateful
