Cantor Berel Zucker sang a beautiful and heartfelt rendition of MBD’s classic “Someday” at a Crown Heights wedding in Adar, just weeks before the tragic passing of his wife Raizel.
The following is a moving tribute to Raizel, obm.
With the recent passing of Mrs. Zucker, there has been an incredible outpouring of support by the entire Chabad community and beyond. With the help of some generous donors who came on board in the last 48 hours, we have now added a bonus round of an additional $200k to bring the campaign total to $1.2 million, to help care and provide for Raizel’s husband and 8 beautiful children, ki’yh.
“Raizel was a beacon of hope, light, optimism and emunah for everyone. She leaves a void quite difficult if not impossible to fill. She was truth in a world where truth seems to be scarce. She inspired and continues to inspire so many whom knew her and even those who weren’t lucky enough to have known her personally,” her family member said.
May Hashem give the children all the needed love for them to feel that she’s always with them.
I hope we can all be so convinced and prepared for Moshiach at every moment as she was. I pray that her desire for goodness and kindness and unity in this world will materialize,” they said.
