A student of Yeshiva Maor Menachem in Rechovot, Israel, fell out of a window on Motzoei Shabbos and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The 16-year-old was first sent to the nearby Kaplan Medical Center and was transferred to the Rabin Medical Center (Beilinson) in Petach Tikva on Sunday morning.
“According to passersby, the youngster stumbled from a window on the 2nd floor and landed on a tiled roof, injuring his limbs,” said Moshe Mizrachi, a paramedic of Hatzalah United.
The Yeshiva for Mesivta age students was founded in 1995 and is headed by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Aharon. It has an enrollment of 80 bochurim from Rechovot and around Israel.
The bochur is said to be in stable condition and was undergoing surgery on Sunday evening.
