None of them pretty.
and claim they find their lettuce is lab tested, thats a matter of trust between consumer and bodek. why does the news not take it up with bodek? as for kosher garden. they grow their romaine in mexico and package it in PA. again, why didnt the reporter call kosher garden who makes similar claims? sloppy journalism.
Pos’tiv and Kosher Gardens certainly do, and there’s no reason to avoid them.
The media hates real Jews so they send a black reporter with an attitude problem. The major kosher lettuce companies have checked out their products and they would not distribute them if there was a problem because they could get sued if someone gets sick. They are now fools. The fake media withe fake do called professors who brainwash the youth with evolution and revolution are busy with global warming hoax so they can fund their do next thing lifestyles with our tax money. 31 thousand real scientist just signed on that global warming is baloney. The lefty loonies think… Read more »
There are over 200 types of E. Coli. Some forms of them are not harmful to human, and in fact some of them are in are intestines.
So please don’t bring in vaccination into the picture.
Oh, I forgot the CDC recommends taking vaccines.
Why don’t you go look in the black owned stores? Around here, the black and Asian stores have signs posted (in several languages) that they don’t have romaine until further notice?
By the way, the hateful comments and attitudes shown more and more frequently really highlight what a light unto the nations you are…..not! And you wail for the Messiah to come?
Look in the mirror folks.
Don’t eat any romaine until the Gov is a go clear indication…
I’m sure bozek is not sure where they get all their vegetables from.
The supposed bad batch (30 out of millions – may just be due to leaving out and dirty hands of purchasers). It’s short term about academics hurting American farmers. Then, now that the CDC has listed it as harmful, it may be used eventually against chasidim – hamaivin yavin.
you’r hilarious!
They’re clearly just in search of a story and the boro Park community is super fascinating for people, so why not.
They should have went to the source. Why just go into a grocery store. It was Anti Semitic it was not right.
The problem started from the pickers not washing their hands after going to the bathroom. Their is no sanitary conditions there. Perhaps at the kosher ones they give them rokeach soap?
Is one of the ingredients in the meningococcal vaccine. Check it out for yourself.
Fact is I read today that Bodek company issued a notice that all its Roman lettuce are ok. They had it checked out with lab and in fact don’t get their lettuce from the same area that these lettuce found to be a problem. You can get lettuce in all the kosher stores now. These media Jew hating outlets are looking to paint Orthodox Jews and Donald Trump with fake news. Vote Trump 2020 vision.
I thought it’s cuz it’s grown differently- in water
Bodek and Positiv are posting that their lettuce is okay. Grown in different environment – unsure if hothouse or hydroponically. So not exposed to the same pathogens. and not watered with irrigation water that is close to cow pastures.
Personally, I think it’s a big hype for nothing. There are probably 50 million people at any given time eating lettuce, and 30 people got sick. You do the math
Yet another example of frum people knowing better than science. The arrogance is criminal. Trusting a doctor or the CDC is what Torah wants.
Where did they get the idea that washing the lettuce gets rid of E.coli? It doesn’t. There’s plenty of scientific information about this available. Wash it once or 10 times, it doesn’t matter. I dearly hope that no one who eats this gets ill. What’s bothersome is that the company says it was tested. How? Did they test every head of lettuce? At best all they can say is that the samples tested were OK. I’m sure you can find bags from tainted sources that are E.coli free.
You make your own decisions. I’ve made mine.
For what reason does the news have to come into a private community and question why they don’t take up the advice. It is a clear choice of the consumer to buy the lettuce or not and is clearly marked with a warning.
Fake news and border racism
They would never go into the black owned stores and ask about the lettuce, they would get shot.
