As Israel faces a barrage of rocket attacks and violent protest by Arab terrorists, rabbis are asking the Jewish world to pray for the Holy Land.
In a public letter, members of the Chabad Beis Din of Israel asked to dedicate Tuesday, 29 Iyar – Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan, in prayer and Mitzvos.
Specifically, they asked:
1. In addition to the daily recitation of Tehillim, recite chapters 20, 22, 69, 120 and 150.
2. To add in the giving of charity.
3. To be active in the Rebbe’s Mivtzoim, among them Ahavas Yisroel, Chinuch, Torah learning, Tefillin, Mezuzah, Kosher, Shabbos candles, and letters in a Sefer Torah, as well as learning the daily Rambam.
4. Actively encourage parents to bring children and infants to shul on Shavuos to hear the Aseres Hadibros (Ten Commandments).
