Planning is underway for the largest-ever Kinus Mechanchos Chabad to take place this summer. Geared for Chabad women educators, the two-day event will include workshops and presentations on pertinent Chinuch topics in specialized tracks for educators of all ages, grades and subjects, and presented by renowned educators, professionals, Rabbanim, and Mashpiim(os).
The annual Kinus also features a Gala Chinuch banquet, gourmet meals, educational resource fair, women’s swimming hours and networking opportunities, to enable Mechanchos to connect, gain skills and begin the new school year feeling refreshed and ready to give their all to their students.
Featured presenters at the 8th Annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad will include Rabbi Baruch Hertz, Rav of Kehilla Chabad and Dean of the Lubavitch Girls High School in Chicago, IL, as Rav in Residence, Dr. Rona Novick, Clinical Psychologist and Expert on bullying, trauma and special education, as well as acclaimed Teacher Trainer, Rabbi Zelly Silber, amongst many more. Attendees will gain a plethora of skills to equip them to meet the current challenges they face in their work in Chinuch.
“The wide variety of workshops covered something for every issue you might be looking to address,” shared Mrs. Sara Zirkind, Teacher at Bais Rivkah High School, after last summer’s 7th annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad.
In honor of Shnas Hakhel, the 8th Annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad will include expanded track options, that include beginning teachers and school administrators, to ensure that every educator receives the support she needs for her role in the vital Shlichus of Chinuch. Multimedia presentations featuring stories of chinuch and the transformational role of educators, as well as a fully stocked resource fair, will provide an immersive experience for all who attend.
