A new series of Chassidus classes by Shliach and educator Rabbi Efraim Zaltzman will explain Chassidus concepts in simple English, so that they are easy to understand and teach, thus intensifying the efforts of Yafutzu mayanosecha chutza.
As announced on 19 Kislev, a new “Chassidus explained” class series will launch by By Rabbi Efraim Zaltzman, Director, Chabad of Kingsborough and Rabbi of Young Israel of Brighton Beach. These classes are geared for everyone, from beginners to advanced and everyone in between, for men and women. (See hisvaduyos 5748 Vol. 1, page 227).
These classes were designed with consideration of your time. Therefore, most classes are 30 minutes or less, with a minimum of repetition of previously explained concepts. Also, exact sources are usually quoted so you can look them up and have a yet better understanding.
Generally, Chassidus can be put into two categories. Haskala, I.e. the deep philosophical concepts, and avoida, which often translates itself into prayer. For several reasons, Rabbi Zaltzman chose to post the classes on prayer first. Beginning with several introductions followed by insights of Chassidus on the siddur. Many hours went into preparing these classes. BE”H you will gain much from them.
