Real estate brokerage located in Crown Heights is looking for a Bookkeeper to assist our Finance department. Your focus will be in bookkeeping, but you will be required to assist with other administrative duties throughout the office and various departments. Experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate.


Responsibilities:
- Process agent commission payments
- Review leases as part of the commission approval process
- Process payments to property management companies
- Arrange lease delivery
- Review and record commissions to ensure appropriate documentation, approval and classification
- Prepare monthly financial reporting documents
- Classify bank transactions, expenses and other items
- Review monthly bills and identify areas for savings
- Process staff payroll bi-weekly
- Process vendor payments

Requirements
- 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong fluency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Quickbooks
- Must be organized, self motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
- Prioritize workload in a deadline driven environment
