OK Kosher is looking for a professional and experienced Executive Assistant to support and coordinate various projects for the Executive Manager.

The Assistant will support the Executive’s day-to-day work. This includes a heavy emphasis on written communication and reading, researching, collecting and analyzing information as needed.

The work will take place in a dynamic and evolving workplace, with ongoing opportunities to learn new skills.
This is a full-time, in-person position located in Brooklyn. Salary is commensurate with experience, and room for growth. We are looking for a long-term commitment for this position.

Responsibilities Include:
• Working closely with the Executive to compose correspondence and documents.
• Editing and formatting documents to look streamlined and read professionally.
• Researching, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing various projects.
• Conducting customer relations communications.
• Coordinating and booking travel, including preparing itineraries.
• Scheduling and preparing for meetings, taking and editing clear meeting minutes.
• Hosting clients and escorting them to meetings.
• Setting reminders and following up on various tasks.
• Answering and screening phone calls and messages.

The right candidate:
• Can pick up on instructions quickly and can implement with minimal direction.
• Is dependable and flexible shifting between tasks throughout the workday.
• Prioritizes and makes sound judgment calls.
• Is organized and methodical.
• Shows commitment to excellence on a consistent basis.
• Is an excellent communicator - able to interact with people in a confident, professional manner.
• Has a pleasant and professional phone manner.
• Has a solid command of English writing and grammar skills.
• Is trustworthy with confidential subject matter.
• Learns processes and software thoroughly.
• Has a can-do attitude but isn’t afraid to ask for help or admit a mistake.
• Has experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Zoom and other common office software.
• Has prior experience in a corporate office environment
• Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred).

Pluses, but not required:
• Working knowledge of WordPress.
• Has experience with productivity tools and systems.
