Being an experienced Mechanech for decades, I’ve guided many Bar Mitzvah students to experience success. I conduct classes exclusively on Zoom.
Currently, I have an 11:45 to 11:35 am and 11:45 am to 12:35 pm availability New York time every Sunday morning. Since the options vary, we would have to discuss the curriculum or what the bar mitzvah lessons entail, in a phone conversation prior to beginning the lessons.
The traditional menu includes - but doesn't necessarily entail all - learning the Maamar in English and in Hebrew, learning the weekly Haftara, learning the musical notes of both the Haftarah and the regular weekly reading of your son’s Shabbat Parasha, Bar Mitzvah dvar Torah/speech, learning the customs and laws of the Bar Mitzvah, and learning the laws of Tefillin.
