Shluchim/Teacher position available for a couple seeking shlichus in Charlotte, North Carolina. Strong, supportive team environment among the teachers and staff at the school, in addition to the shluchim in the city. School is progressive and strives for excellence. We are a cutting-edge, student-centered school where you will be trained in the latest, evidence-based methods of education and classroom management. You will be supported every step of the way as you try to meet the needs of each individual student. You will be joining a warm and supportive Shluchim family.
• Elementary and Middle School Grades
• Almost all of the Limudei Kodesh teachers are Chabad.
• Must be able to follow our unique method of limudei kodesh education which requires a sensitivity to a diverse student population. We are a community school. Chabad and Shomer Shabbos students are a small percentage of our student body.
• Our school welcomes students from all backgrounds, (including those not halachically Jewish since it is not a Chabad school) we have a unique opportunity to reach families that wouldn’t ordinarily connect within a Jewish institution.
• Fluent in Ivrit a plus.
• Both husband and wife are needed, however it is understood that only one might be available.
• Could develop into an administrative position (if appropriate)
• It is important that the applicants have good work ethic, take initiative, are devoted and committed, are team players, and have a passion for education, especially through the lens of shlichus
• Background, training and experience in teaching is required
