We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage all financial operations at the Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island, a Citywide non-profit in Brooklyn, NY. The CFO will be responsible for maintaining internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both program budgets and actual expenditures, and ensure that all costs are properly allocated. Additionally, the CFO will oversee budgeting for all JCCGCI program contracts, collaborate with members of the Executive team in drafting, reviewing, and verifying accuracy of annual budgets by program, and prepare/review monthly financial statements to the Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate. Should possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences. The CFO will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial metrics, providing regular reports to the Board of Directors, and making recommendations for financial strategies. The salary range for this position is $230,000-$250,000, Full time, in office 35 hours per week. Benefits included.

Qualifications: CPA Professional with prior nonprofit finance experience with a successful track record in a senior financial management role for at least 10 or more years
