We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Director to join the Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island, a Citywide non-profit based in Brooklyn, NY. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day HR functions in the areas of organizational development, employee/labor relations, performance management, and recruitment. Coordinate all liability, property, workers’ compensation, health disability, officers & directors and other insurance policies. As the Human Resources Director, you will work closely with Program Directors, Fiscal and Executive Staff.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of HR experience with a focus on non-profit organizations, a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations, and experience with talent management and organizational development. This is a full-time 35 hours a week, in-person position with a salary range of $160,000-$210,000 and health insurance and benefits included.
