that is so depressing. i don’t know about you but I’m loving my new normal. my kids are grown and now i’m taking time to discover who I am. i love when the kids come over but i also love when it’s quiet. I can finally hear myself think. i can take care of myself. I know you mean well but a poem about how each stage in life is full of opportunity and joy would be better served…

B”H Thank you for putting those sentiments out there; poignant, eloquent. When I was a young Mom, decades ago, my Grandfather, OBM was visiting us. Thank you for sharing your profound messages with us each week. A few weeks ago yaught that there is only Hashem. This really helped me when i learned the Alter Rebbe’s teaching in Tanya that from Hashem’s perspective there is only Him.

Thank you for adding so much joy to our lives.

Don't blink!

Miryam, as a comtemporary, I can completely grasp and relate to your message of not pushing time. When my three eldest children, now grandparents, were babies in diapers (cloth!), someone gave me a wonderful piece of advice: Don’t blink! I thought it was an interesting comment, but I couldn’t begin to fully comprehend its meaning. Fifty years later, I do, and I have often repeated the same message.

The motto in our house is ‘Dont rush it!” and that is whether we are celebrating a birthday or a new wonderful milestone. No need to rush the days as they go quickly enough all by themselves,

Right on
