In Mesivta Oholei Yitzchok Lubavitch, in Detroit, Michigan, the students have been exhibiting great enthusiasm for the learning of Gemarah and Chassidus.
Mivtza Torah is a project divided into three time periods including various phases, in order for each student to succeed according to his level.
During the first period, which began in Cheshvan and ended on Yud Shevat, the Bochurim learned, reviewed, and were tested by the Talmidim Hashluchim on approximately thirty Dafim of Gemarah in the field of Nigleh, and various Maamorim and Sichos in the field of Chassidus.
The response was beyond expectations. During all breaks the Bochurim were seen learning the material B’chavrusah with great enthusiasm.
This past Wednesday there was a Siyum ceremony on the first successful stage of the Mivtza, prizes were distributed for the hard work and accomplishments of the students.
The Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Laimeh Wilhelm, praised the Bochurim on their previous accomplishments and encouraged them for future achievements.
He also mentioned that the Rebbe demands from the Temimim to learn tens and hundreds of Dafei Gemarah, and the great Nachas Ruach the Rebbe receives from such notifications.
The second period of the Mivtza, which will continue from now until Pesach Sheini, was announced by one of the Talmidim Hashluchim. Hopes are high that it will continue with even greater enthusiasm and devotion shown by the Bochurim.
