Update:
The Department of Transportation is suspending the paving of Empire Blvd to accommodate the Kinus.
Residents and guests will be allowed to park on Empire Blvd from approximately 4am Friday morning through the weekend.
Work will not be continued until Monday
The Kinus office would like to thank the office of Mayor Eric Adams, Joel Eisdorfer, senior advisor to the Mayor, and Commissioner Fred Kreizman for resolving this on short notice.
The few cars that were towed were placed within a block of their original location, in the event that you can’t find your car, call the 71st precinct for its location # 718-735-0511 and press 0.

Empire Boulevard from Troy until Kingston Avenue will be repaved on Thursday night November 17, beginning at about 6 PM.
There is No parking allowed and will be a ‘Tow away’ zone on Empire from Kingston to Troy.
6pm tonight towing will start.
Please move your vehicles before 6pm today to avoid getting towed, Empire Blvd from Troy Avenue to Kingston Ave.
The roads that got repaved in CH over the past few years, were very much needed to be fixed, they were full of potholes etc. And our community appreciates that the city & mayors office is on top of fixing our roads. But somehow every time NYC repaves Crown Heights Streets, they manage to do it on a very busy time, Pesach, Tishrei & now Kinnus weekend.
