Crown Heights schools have joined together to host a Summer Food Service Program, offering children 18 and younger free breakfast and lunch Grab-N-Go meals throughout this summer.
The food packages contain everyday grocery items, like bread, milk, juice, yogurt, cheese, fish, cereal, cake, fruits, vegetables and more.
The program is for those not receiving meals elsewhere.
While the program is a joint project of Oholei Torah, Lubavitch Yeshiva, Bais Rivkah, Bnos Menachem, and Darchai Menachem, all children of Crown Heights are eligible to receive meals, regardless of which school they attend or if they don’t attend school at all.
Children not attending any summer program will get meals 7 days a week. Children attending a summer program during weekdays will get weekend meals.
To register, please sign up online at www.CrownGnG.com
Once approved, you will receive an email asking you to log into your account to schedule your pickup.
Meals will be distributed weekly with a drive-through pick up system; volunteers will place the boxes in your vehicle without you leaving the car.
Please note, these meals are only available for children not receiving meals from any other Grab-N-Go sites or getting meals on days that they attend a Camp program. Only parents or guardians can pick meals for their families.
Please note that supplies are limited. Registration will close when our limit has been reached.
