Was so impressed by the content and the style of the writing that I thought to send a letter to the editor to request more articles by this author
So so we’ll written. Easy to read but not simply written. A masterpiece!
May Jeanie’s Neshomah have an aliya!
And May the author find comfort in the good that she has done- truly beyond what was expected of her when initially volunteering
What a beautiful story! You were here lifeline in this world and the next. You really cared showing true ahavas yisroel. I as an older person with no family but with friends can really appreciate what you did for her. Maybe i should call jnet and teach someone. I never knew what jnet was before you explained it.
Thank you for sharing! Very touching and very well written!
This was an incredible read
so nicely written but your kindness is what’s most impressive.
I know you write for a living, but this is fantastic! Please keep writing in ways that can be shared! So inspirational.
Thank you Nechamie Margolis and COL for sharing this!
Thank you, this is very moving. It’s such an example of hashgacha pratis and the beauty of mitzvas (and your mother’s “voice” telling you to make a hachlata) and going beyond ourselves, which we all need to constantly remember. May Jeanie’s neshama have aliyahs. And revealed good for you, your family, klal Yisroel, Moshiach now!
Was so well written and a beautiful story. Very impressive. R.S
We are lucky to have her teach us writing in Bais Rivkah
This made me cry. Wow. Beautifully written.
A beautiful piece of writing, but more importantly, a spark of inspiration that everyone can take to heart.
When I first saw this story on COL, I printed it out, thinking it would make a good Shabbos read. It took me a couple of weeks to finally get to it, but it was definitely worth the wait. The story, the characters, the beautiful lessons—all had a profound impact on me. Good for you, Nechamie—your kind heart, perception and true ahavas Yisroel are examples for all of us.
