Yitzy Goldberg, a member of the Crown Heights Hatzalah volunteer-based emergency medical services organization, has returned home from the hospital to complete his recovery from coronavirus.
“With Hashem’s blessings, I am BH back home,” wrote Goldberg, Operations & Financial Director of Spotlight Design. “I wanted to thank everyone for the tefilos and reaching out to find out how I was doing.”
He thanked the staff at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan’s Upper East Side in New York City “for the wonderful care they provided.”
On social media, he gave a special shoutout to his colleagues at Hatzalah. “I am in awe of the mesiras nefesh each and every member has had running on calls and saving lives around the clock, I am so proud to be associated with this wonderful organization.”
Speaking to COLlive.com, Goldberg said on Tuesday: “Baruch Hashem, I was able to sleep last night without supplementary oxygen for the first time in over a week. I am still very weak but recovering…”
He says that a number of people reached out to him to spread the good news, “so that I can encourage sick relatives that “yesh tikvah” (there is hope).
BH keep up the good work!
