Rabbi Chanan and Tuba Chernitsky, the shluchim to S. John’s Newfoundland are overwhelmed with gratitude to all those that gave towards their Mikvah project, having raised $150,000 mostly from Anash and Yidden they’ve never met!
(Newfoundland is an island off the north-east coast of Canada, with a wonderful small kehila)
The campaign is now in its final stage, ending next week on Friday, 17 Av, August 7th.
A generous yungerman from Toronto has just donated a Rebbe dollar to help the shluchim raise the $150,000 still needed for the Mikvah.
Every donation of
$50 – gets you 1 entry in the raffle.
$100 – 3 Entries
$250 – 10 Entries
This applies retroactively to those who have donated since the beginning of the campaign as well.
