To our dear Crown Heights community,
As parents, we know all too well the struggle and nisayon of finding quality wholesome entertainment that both children and adults can enjoy.
The Levi Yitzchok Library provides just that, and more! In addition to offering a vast selection of books catering to all ages, reading levels, and interests, the library also boasts spacious and comfortable reading nooks where individuals, families, and groups of friends can come to enjoy a calm and inviting reading space. The library also hosts Mommy and me, story time and much more.
While the damage caused by Hurricane Ida dealt us a terrible blow, with over 5,000 books lost and immeasurable structural damage, we are committed to rebuilding our library to be better and stronger than ever.
We turn to you, our dear Crown Heights community, to ask that you help us reach our goal and reopen our doors right away!
The Rebbe took great joy and pride in approving the naming of the Levi Yitzchok Library after his esteemed father, and even donated a shas to the library.
We thank you for your continued support, and we reaffirm our commitment to provide kosher, quality, and educational entertainment for all children who visit our library.
Please help us reach our goal of $150,000 by visiting rebuildourlibrary.com
We hope to see you and your children cozied up again with a good read very soon!
My kids ask me everyday when is the library opening?
I donated on line. Please do the same.
So many improvements were made to the library over the years to keep it updated with all the latest books. I used to go there as a student to do HW and later as a teacher to prepare my classes. We need it up and running better than before!
