Rabbi Noam Wagner comes from a long line of extremely learned and important Rabbinical scholars. He grew up in Toronto, Canada, and was ordained by the famous Montreal’s Chief Rabbi Pinchos Hirshprung OBM in 1995.
He currently heads the Chabad Yeshiva for college boys in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he currently lives with his family. Rabbi Wagner has a unique perspective on Chassidic philosophy and is recognized for his influence and unique connection with Chabad bochurim.

Perfect definition of a chossid this morning in shul. Out of the corner of my eye, while davening, during kaddusha! no less, while everyone else is standing serenely at attention, I see that there is this one guy who is hurrying around the shul, still talking, busy, and with what seems like total disregard for the sanctity of the moment. Although he spoke very nicely and brought a certain nekudah, I personally didn’t really see how he answered the question. Can someone please explain?
Calling someone a Chossid seems more specific and rare today, rather than using the word Chassidish is more vague…
