Hundreds of men, women and children visited the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn’s annual art gallery event, “The Art of Friendship: As You Are,” in collaboration with the Bear Givers Foundation.
Children and young adults with special needs in the Brooklyn, NY area worked very hard in creating their very own artistic masterpieces with the guidance of artist Chana Laber, and after months of preparation, family, friends and supporters gathered Sunday for a unique art gallery featuring their art.
Participants also enjoyed fun activities, face painting and refreshments.
At the event, Rabbi Berel Majesky, who directs the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn with his wife Chani, thanked attendees for their participation. Joseph Sprung and Diane Lempert of the Bear Givers Foundation were in attendance as well.
Many of the attendees purchased beautiful pieces of the displayed artwork, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn.
Chana is a genius artist with the incredible G-d given ability to bring out the greatness in others. She touched each piece of art and each special child or adult with her magical touch!!
