“Please, Open Your Hearts and Open Your wallets Take Out A Dollar and Give Me The Rest.”
These are the famous words of one of my long-time heroes R’ Shimshon Stock obm.
I find it perfect timing to use this quote now as I ask you to please help me keep my uncle’s legacy alive and his family supported and looked after. Why, you ask, is it perfect timing? Purim is R’ Shimshon Stock’s Yahrzeit, and this is how my uncle Yisroel lived his life, he gave all he had to whoever requested his assistance, whether it be financial, emotional, a listening ear, a caring heart or warm smile, and many times they did not ask for his assistance but with his keen sense he figured out help was necessary.
My uncle Yisroel passed away in the prime of his life at only 55 years old, leaving behind a grieving wife and 5 devastated children and grandchildren.
The Torah tells us to take extra care of the Yosom and and almanah. As the Yom Tov of Purim approaches, I ask of you, please open your hearts and open your wallets, help keep Yisroel’s Legacy of Kindness alive. Your donation will enable his family to be supported with dignity, and give the means to continue his holy work.
With best wishes for a Freilichen Purim, and the immediate coming of Moshiach Now!
