Gan Menachem of Kiddie Korner in Brooklyn Heights, under the auspices of Rabbi Aaron and Shternie Raskin, has began the school year on high note.
Over 20 staff members that work at Chabad of Brooklyn Heights gathered early Tuesday morning at the Rebbe‘s Ohel to gain inspiration and to request a Brocha for a successful year.
Shternie Raskin, director of Kiddie Korner, welcomed the girls and shared insight to the importance of their shlichus.
Rabbi Mendel Duchman, a motivational speaker and coach for Chabad institutions, inspired the staff members with stories and memories of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin.
The Los Angeles based consultant specified the power that every staff member has – no matter age or experience to reach out to every single soul.
Rabbi Raskin then spoke about the importance of the month of Elul and the King in the field how the children are compared to uncultivated land which could grow and be nurtured by the staff.
Rabbi Raskin spoke about how the Rebbe teaches the importance of holding on to every single soul and how Hashem will in-return look after you .
A group PAN was written and then staff members then proceeded to daven by the Rebbe and Rebbetzin.
