I will never forget something he taught me many years ago in Oholei Torah (very applicable today):
Yiush is Shelo Midaas. (Giving up makes no sense, or giving up is because you have no sense…)
He will be sorely missed. The Chayus of his davvening at the Omud in “Siberia” still resonates with me…. and probably -hopefully- will forever…

It was very touching to see people waiting by the curb to pay their respects and literally escort the meis a few steps. Especially those who dressed for the occasion with their hats and jackets.
