Thank you Yehuda for this wonderful resource and for the opportunity to learn from you on 31X.
Your Talmid
If you are a person who is compassionate and sensitive, comforting and supportive, and as expert as Yehuda Schaffer, then you should become an EMT. Yes, you need to know your stuff; but when someone is in the midst of a crisis, compassion and kindness are the most beautiful garments in which EMT expertise is clothed!
Respectful and also discreet (not speaking about them ever), a person’s dignity is even more valuable to them than their physical welfare.
Yehuda Schaffer is the poster-man for a frum paramedic: his gentle reassuring manner brings immense relief; he makes his patients, and the family around the patient, feel immensely confident in his presence; he is compassionate and professional to the utmost.
Thank you for featuring him, he is a true role model for all the younger hatzolah guys!
Yehuda is amazing as a ch hatzala member. He is also a medic, not an EMT.
