Today, (Tu) the 15th of Av, is a Jewish holiday!
In fact, the Talmud considers today’s holiday the greatest festival of the year. What’s the mystery and what is so special about “Tu B’Av”?
In a nutshell, the Talmud tells us that many years ago the “daughters of Jerusalem would go dance in the vineyards” on the 15th of Av, and “whoever did not have a wife would go there” to find himself a bride. It’s a day of love and rebirth. A day to reflect on our relationships.
