What a Beautiful Way to Honor 18 Elul
September 6, 2020 9:28 pm

Mazel Tov to all the winners! What an incredibly beautiful way to honor Chai Elul, our Rebbeim, and our people who have done their best and invested their hard work and talents into applying Chassidus in so many essays and creative ways. I’m marveling at the diversity of the ages, backgrounds, demographics of the numerous contestants.
Chassidus strikes a chord in the heart of every Jew.
Wishing everyone a happy healthy sweet new year.

Our family has participated in this essay contest for a few years and it brought us many blessings. This year, one of our family members who opted not to be part of this in the past did join because of the new creative track. Thak you for adding this. You have no idea how mnay individuals I know who feel so good about themselves because of this. May Hashem repay you in kind and grant you and your family a k’seeva v’chaseema tova.

An expression like that can lead to a lot of disfunction in a relationship thats caught in the addictive cycle. One of the first things taught to family members is “you didnt cause it, you can’t control it and you can’t cure it.” In this case i question if a phrase like… Read more »
