Machane Pioneers camp, which provides camping experiences that leave kids inspired and empowered and is entering its 12th summer, has announced that it will expand to a center for Jewish Outdoor Education.
Under the leadership of Michoel Nagel – Director Pioneers/Chalutzim and his wife Batsheva Nagel – Director of Chavaya Vermont and Aharon Margolin– Director of Operations, the new parent organization Machane Pioneers Adventures will be offering four programs: Pioneers Camp (Boys 9-16), Chavaya (Girls 9-15), Chalutzim (Boys 14 – 17), Father/Son Colorado Adventure (Boys 12-15).
“Our camp was founded with the vision of reshaping how we educate our youth by putting a focus on experiential learning in a warm chassidish family setting,” said Michoel Nagel.
Entering their 12th summer of creating lasting memories, experiences, and fun, they are expanding to offer two new programs for the Pioneers Family in addition to our current Boys’ and Girls’ camps in Vermont.
“With the beautiful outdoors as our classroom, we have found tremendous success instilling our campers with valuable teachings, life lessons, experiences and chassidishkeit,” Nagel said. “We feel proud that this vision is in full bloom with hundreds of alumni leaving our program empowered and inspired. Observing the tremendous impact both our Boys’ and Girls’ programs have had, with our expanded vision and two new programs, we hope to give more children and now even adults access to the ‘Pioneers’ experience.”
