Pregnancy loss can be a devastating, tragic experience for any expectant mother. Often-times, women find themselves experiencing feelings of deep sadness, grief, pain and loneliness.
Miriam’s Motherhood Center offers a free, monthly group, inviting fellow women of the Crown Heights community who have experienced pregnancy loss, to come together and receive support and gather chizuk.
Pregnancy loss support groups offer a safe, supportive space for women affected by loss, the opportunity to share their stories and experiences with others, gain support and comfort, with hopes of reducing the feelings of isolation or grieving alone.
Facilitating the group will be Mrs. Chumi Friedman, director of ATIME/HUG pregnancy loss support services.
The next group will meet Wednesday, November 10, Kislev 6, at 8:30 PM at Miriam’s Motherhood Center.
