Mrs. Malka Namdar, beloved matriarch of a large family, passed away on Tuesday, 27 Tishrei, 5785.
She was 93.
Mrs. Namdar’s joy in life, wisdom, warmth and loving spirit endeared her to many, in her years in Eretz Yisroel, London, Milan and her last years in New York.
She, together with her family, merited a very close and warm relationship with the Rebbe, who encouraged her to “spread Yiddishkeit in all the Italy!”
She is mourned by her children, Yisroel Namdar of Milan, Italy, Rachel Vardi and Batsheva Chamami of Eretz Yisroel, Shmuel Namdar of Great Neck, NY and Rabbi Alexander Namdar of Gothenburg, Sweden.
She leaves behind her BH hundreds of descendants, including many shluchim of the Rebbe.
She was predeceased by her husband Refoel Namdar and her sons Daniel Namdar of Milan, Italy and Rabbi Michoel Namdar of Crown Heights.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 1pm by 770.

Yisrael Namdar (Issy) will be sitting Shiva in Milan from Monday – Wednesday morning.
Rabbi Alexander Namdar will be sitting shiva in Crown Heights at 1607 President St from Sunday-Wednesday morning

She really kept her Iranian hospitality that she grew up with.
She’ll be greatly missed amongst the Persian community
She was a royal Queen. Admired and loved by all who knew her. Always giving brochos. Strong bitachon. Amazing relationship with the Rebbe.
