My Mashpia once told me to use my imagination to discover Hashem in our world and use it as a lesson. In this photo, the steadiness of the mountains covered in ice symbolizes for me the total commitment to Hashem. Around it, reminds me of the Alter Rebbe’s parable of the “king in the field” during Elul. Hashem is as visible like the livestock and the stones there.

This photo was taken on a trip to the 7 Lakes by the Ausangate mountain of the Vilcanota mountain range in the Andes of Peru. Looking at such breathtaking scenery really puts things into perspective. Sometimes, we keep chasing the next peak while forgetting the gifts Hashem gave us for free.

As every year, a mass Havdalah ceremony was held in New York City’s famed Times Square for Jewish teens, who came from all over the world to spend Shabbos in Crown Heights with CTEEN. It’s exciting to see, time and time again, teens who are getting closer to Judaism, proud of their heritage, and shouting Shema Yisroel proudly in one of the most popular places in the world. I’m sure they will remember these moments forever!

This drone shot was taken during the month of Tishrei last year, I like this photo because you can see the entire Crown Heights and 770 in the center, and you can’t miss the huge tent that was built next to 770 to accommodate all the guests who come from all over the world. I really like the picture and the sunrise pouring in the background, it makes it a perfect shot.

This photo was taken on the first yartzeit of the 45 Jews who were crushed to death at Meron on Lag BaOmer, a ceremony was held on Mount Meron in their memory. The event ended with an emotional singing of Ani Maamin with a special screen displaying the memory of all those who perished.

When I walked in the Danube river in Budapest near the shoes monument in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, I shuddered to think about the last moments of a Jewish boy tied to the side of both his parents and shot to death during the Holocaust. My answer was to blow a shofar in front of the indifferent Hungarians, wishing us all a happy new year full of “Geon Yaakov.”

The reason This picture is my favorite is besides for making the cover of the COLlive magazine (Kislev 5782) it also really shows how 770 is the beis rabeinu shebibovel and the center of the entire world.

there are women photographers in lubavitch too
let’s remember who we are and how the rebbe encouraged pictures of women too that could serve as role models for young girls
and in general, there are female photographers who don’t only take pictures of women…
But there should be a seperate of women photgraphers
