Title should be vote for candidate who is most compatible with our values. The way the title is worded can remotely imply to vote democratic וד״ל
That’s probably who he wants everyone to vote for anyway hahaha
Voting Democratic means being full of love and generosity..Torah values!
Love and generosity, like Portland, LA, Chicago, NYC?
Democrats aren’t love and generosity, they may have good intentions. But you have to look at the end result to see how honest they are. You are honest, I’m sure, your party is not.
Once the results of their policies are obvious (and they have been for decades), then continuing with them is no longer “good intentions,” but simply an effort to undermine society.
Yes, people being attacked by criminals are just feeling that “love and generosity” all over the place.
Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent
Indeed. Rabbi Braun leaves the door open to vote Democrat.
According to the polls it’s a very tight race. If we all vote there is a good chance we get zeldin in!
He said very clearly to go out and vote, and that it may not even matter who you vote for, rather that we’re showing that our community votes. Don’t put your opinion into the Rov’s mouth.
It is refreshing to finally have a Rav in our community who steps up and shows leadership and guidance. Yes, there were times that many community members, myself included, disagreed with his stances on various issues. But this is the way it is supposed to work as the Torah says that אין דעותיהן שוות, people’s opinions naturally differ from one another. And as the Rebbe expressed many times that this is precisely why we need Rabbonim to make rulings and decisions. (Not as some think that the opinion of Rabbonim is only relevant when it agrees to their own opinion).… Read more »

The DMV or online but the deadline to register for this election was oct 14
Not very clear what the rabbonim are saying who should the community vote for lots of words but no clear direction.
He says the candidate that is good for chinuch and that takes care of crime. Easy enough to figure out
There are two subjects here: 1) Go out and vote vs. not voting. There are many members of our community who don’t vote. Men have parnasa and family to deal with, women have many children at home etc. etc. It isn’t always easy to vote. Unfortunately in the past, due to the difficulties, many skipped voting thinking that their vote won’t make a difference. The Rov was very clear (if you actually listened to the audio) that THIS is the subject he is addressing (not about whom to vote for) and he was EXTREMALLY CLEAR clear with his direction urging… Read more »
You don’t have to be a genius who to vote for. I just heard that upstate New York the Democratic congressperson is in trouble as all the frum yidden united to vote in the Republican candidate who now seems to be ahead. The president Biden called the severer and vishnitzer rebbe to try and convince them to support the DemocRATs. The next day every jewish leader from all of Monsey and beyond held a gathering with support for the Republican candidate. It makes such a difference in being able to change Congress and the senate to Republican as our community… Read more »
The fact that you use demeaning words to refer to members of the opposite party tells me everything I need to know about YOUR middos and values.
It’s a serious turnoff to see how many members of our community wholeheartedly embrace the cruelty and crassness of today’s republican party.
Can you list the instances of their cruelty and craziness?
Zeldin is coming to Boro park Sunday October 30. At 13 ave and 48 st. 4 pm
1) Did the Rebbe vote?
