Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald, Rosh Kollel, businessman, and philanthropist, has landed in New York on Wednesday to receive treatment in the United States as he recovers from a medical emergency.
Shloimy fell ill while on a flight traveling to Almaty, Kazakhstan for Chof Av, and had been receiving medical care at a hospital in Istanbul.
Shloimy landed in New York on Wednesday to continue medical treatment. He was transferred by medical jet along with medical personnel thanks to Eli Rowe of Hatzalah Air and his entire team of doctors.
“Shloimy is continuing to improve, and we thank you all for your davening and Tehllim,” his family told COLlive.com. “We urge you to please continue so that he will have a complete recovery B’ezras Hashem.”
His family asked for privacy during this challenging time ahead.
The family is extremely grateful to Rabbi Mendy Chitrik of Chabad of Turkey for his unwavering attention and support from the first moment during the emergency until the arrival in New York.
