A virtual Shloshim event marking 30 days since the passing of Mrs. Henya Federman, Shlucha in the Virgin Islands, will take place on Thursday evening, March 9, 2023.
Family, friends, community members, and the wider Chabad community are invited to participate in the global Shloshim event.
Henya (nee Shmotkin) served as a devoted Shlucha alongside her husband, Rabbi Asher Federman, in the Virgin Islands. Together, with warmth, joy, and love for all they met, the couple ran a successful Chabad Center which brought the light of Judaism to the locals and the thousands of visitors who visit the tourist destination each year.
In November, Henya was injured in a terrible accident in which her youngest child, baby Shterna, tragically passed away.
Henya remained on life support, with thousands of mitzvos being done and tefillos being said in her merit. She passed away one month ago at the age of 40.
Tune in on Thursday at 8:00 PM ET on ZOOM and on COLlive.com.
