The Shluchim Street Fair, running on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights during the International Kinus Hashluchim, has been buzzing with activity thanks to its prime location and long hours of operation.
Featuring a series of shops, vendors and businesses catering especially for Shluchim, their families and institutions have been exhibiting on Kingston, between Lincoln Place and S. John’s Place, one block from Lubavitch World Headquarters – 770 Eastern Parkway.
The fair includes a host of exciting exhibits, including Judaica, fundraising materials, clothing, toys, holiday items, giftware, and more. Vendors are giving out free gifts as well.
For Shluchim, the fair offers them the opportunity to do some shopping and bring home items that aren’t readily available in their hometowns.
“This is the most foot traffic we’ve had,” one vendor told COLlive.com on Motzoei Shabbos. “Shluchim have been coming here nonstop and we are very happy to be working with them.”
Opening hours for the rest of the Kinus, which is open to the public for the next two days:
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday (11/1): 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
