I think we all feel the same about sima. The loss is tremendous! I always admired her passion and love for life! Her open house, and warm heart brightened up the world . We love you sima! Your boro park friends
Had an open house for whoever needed. Real Chesed!

So many times I stayed/ ate her house!
She was always so welcoming and gave us a great feeling!
Such a loss. Although it’s been 20+ years Sima was such a generous host, opening her house to those out of town bochurim who had nowhere for meals…
Simas respect and devotion to her parents had no limits. Her endless care for her mother was done with honor, humor and dignity
She was a special women!
WE NEED MOSHIACH NOW!
So so pained to hear this.
She hosted an event I organized and did it with so much warmth, joy, and grace that I felt like she was my mother hosting.
I was really touched by her.
Thinking of you Shaina Basha during this hard time 💔
Sima’s loving, kind, generous heart & listening ear will be missed by many ! Her devotion & dedication to her parents, family, friends & the community were an inspiration to us all ! May HaShem give her loved ones strength to endure this difficult Time .

I’m sitting here in disbelief. I was in seminary with Sima, and she really did bring Simcha to everyone around her. She was very funny and sang a lot.
My deepest condolences to the family for this tragic loss of a wonderful woman.

So very sad. She was the first person to reach out to us and Invite us to her lovely home for a meal after we moved to the block. Incredibly special and strong lady.
Our Rebbe told us on Chof Ches Nissan, that it is UP TO US to bring Moshiach down here b’poel Mamosh!
It’s been 30 years since!
WE HAVE DONE ALL that we CAN
NOW, IT’S UP TO YOU G-D!

7) NO MORE GALUS!!
I am in absolute shock! Sima was the first to open her heart and home to me when I spent my year in CH with no family or friends over 36 years ago. Her chesed was her DNA .
Sima was an unforgettable personality who optimistically and purposefully always managed to take things in stride and make life “work”. She made it her business to not let petty stuff get in the way of living. To Sima that meant living for pleasure by living for purpose. She combined this derech hachayim with a simchas hachayim and a can-do attitude that made everyone she came in touch with feel like life was manageable.
In the truest sense of the words, Chaval al d’abdeen v’lo mishtakcheen….
This is so profound and inspirational for all of us.
תנחומים למשפחה הגדולה והחשובה

מיוחדת במינה
Mrs. Lerman had a mentoring program for young bais rivkah mothers and i got to know sima when my oldest was in 8th grade. she wanted to take me out to eat but since i had small babies i prefered she come visit me in my house. so she started to visit me at my home and i liked her very much. she gave me confidence in my parenting, and was always complimenting and uplifting me, and was so proud of my children and i miss her so much. moshiach should come and we should see sima again.
She made her environment and CH a bastion of Chessed in the most gracious way. Deepest condolences to the entire family.
Thank you for the kind and open home!
hashem, this is unacceptable, we can not continue like this, what’s taking so long, ad mosai.
