The Rebbe’s melamed, my Zady, is Schneur Zalman Wilenkin.
He lived together with his family in the same city as Reb. Levik (Levy Yitzchok) and Rebetzen Chana, the Rebbe’s parents – Yekatrinislav/Nepopotrovsk – where Reb. Levik served as Rabbi to the large Jewish population.
Finally for the generation that never saw or remember seeing the Rebbe in their lifetime, the “secrets” of how our Rebbe lived and conducted himself, are provided by the magnificent archives of the foremost of mazkirim Rabbi Mindel ah, and finally being shared with the chassidim of the Rebbe who “belong to the Rebbe,” thereby inspiring and strengthening the hishkashrus of current and future generations of Chabad chassidim.
