I smiled all the way through. Ashreinu that we have our Rebbe, and ashreinu for the Rebbe’s Shluchim. Each one shakes the world like no other. Wow. Thank you for this!

And If This were a military photograph one could not say the same thing?
Everyone knows the soldiers have many differences between them, different types of experience, different backgrounds, etc.
Is this article really necessary?

Are you always such a grump? Come on, now! Did you know that the velt too often looks at US and thinks they see robotic, brainless lock-step conformity — way more so than they do when they see soldiers: Most people in the velt know or are related to soldiers and/or veterans. Most in the velt do not know a frum Yid, so they know the message about soldiers, but they don’t know this message about UNSER community! So it’s important and great to see that myth dispelled. Boruch, the difference with soldiers is that after a tour of duty (often 2-3 years) their other life begins. For these Shluchim this is their life!! Don’t understand how you can compare the two.

The article is amazingly written! The person who wrote it amuses me every sentence! I’m a son of a shliach and therefore it’s even funnier because it is so true! It really makes me think about how the awesome the Shliach Movement is! Kudos!
