I can’t begin to count the numerous times I’ve thought about our dear friend and cousin this past year, how many times I wanted to talk to him and how I had to stop myself from picking up the phone at the last second. How happy he always was happy to hear from me, to see me remarried and my daughter married ( he was dancing at my Chassanah less than two years ago)! A million words, a thousand songs, and hundreds of articles will never be able to capture what this incredible person, Reb Chaim Meir HaLevi, za, has done for countless individuals, families, communities, and the world. Yibadla l’chaim tovim aruchim, all of this was done together with his tzadekes of a wife, Rebbetzin Sara, and their entire beautiful family – may they all live and be well and greet Moshiach immediately.
