Connect to the community. This is a community where social media exists, but should not be encouraged. Not everyone has Twitter. Can there pls be another way to get updates that’s more main stream?

It’s for the politicians and others outside the community to see that the vaad hakohol is doing things.

Common, they put a boy with no experience as a Rosh Hakohol? I don’t understand, does everyone think it is some sort of game? They should have put Meir New, that is the most essential candidate of all 6. This reckless attitude makes me feel super anxious.

Usually the one who gets the most votes becomes the rosh hakohol. So since Berel Hildeshaim got the most votes he became Rosh Hakohol.
If you wanted someone else to become a rosh Hakohol you should have gotten more of your friends and fellow Crown Heightsers to vote for him. But don’t worry you’ll have another chance in about 3 years time.

Poin#1 – After 13 , he is a man.
Point#2- Why are you anonymous and chucking spears from the shadows?
Point# 3 – He got the most votes

Does Meir New still have influence in this

Does Meir New still have influence in this new committee even if he didnt get the most votes? It’s okay, i feel like it doesnt matter who is at the top, theyre a team

very well...

i think that one of the main objectives of the vaad should be regarding bringing unity and cohesiveness.

when community’s like nearby williamsburg, have their act together, they can accomplish so much.

crown heights has to learn from them. and a community united, is a community that can achieve anything.

its important that vaad hakohol have this in mind, and strive to have the community as a united force, who together, we can achieve any objective we deem necessary.

This is also a priority for the Rebbe’s Shechuna,
where visitors from all over the world come.
Perhaps each home near a street tree can help pick up the garbage there. Maybe we can work with our non-Jewish neighbors. More trash cans on the street corners? Discuss in the schools?
We can all get on board and each of us do our small/ big part to make the neighborhood beautiful. Not saying it’s easy!
