I was taught that the fruerdiker rebbe said that for a chodesh mesukan we should not say tehillim. For a goses you do. I dont have the source on hand now. Anybody?

1- there is another letter from the rebbe saying that shkia is the time we stop saying tehillim
2- in sefer haminhagim it includes all aseres yemei teshuva when tehillim can be said at night.
