For the second year, a Mitzvah Tank Parade in honor of Yud Shvat headed out from the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Ohel, to bring the message of Yud Shevat and the Rebbe’s leadership to the streets of New York.
The Parade left from the Rebbe’s Ohel on Wednesday morning, heading out to locations in Queens and Long Island. A highlight was a stop outside a nearby supermarket, where the bochurim danced joyously and gathered for an outdoor Hakhel with Jewish passersby, creating a big Kiddush Hashem.
They will be returning to Crown Heights and the Ohel.
Last year, the first-ever Yud Shvat Mitzvah Tank Parade from the Rebbe’s Ohel was a big success, bringing the message of the special and auspicious day to many people in the streets of New York.
The parade was organized by bochurim Arik Deren, Matti Weingarten, Levi Spalter and Shneur Smith.
