A new 2-volume set of Seforim featuring ground-breaking research and analysis on contemporary and traditional topics of Jewish law and customs, has been released.
Chikrey Halacha U’minhag was authored by Rabbi Nir Gurevitch, Rav and Shliach to Gold Coast, Australia.
Spanning some 1200 pages, these 2 volumes delve into each topic and its sources within Pardes Hatorah, as well as history and science. Photography and artwork are included wherever necessary, presenting a compelling thesis before turning to the teachings of our Rabbei’m and the Chassidic Masters to round off the analysis with the beauty of Chassidus and Kabbalah.
These Seforim also include over 150 color images throughout the chapters to enhance the appreciation of the topics covered and also aid in their understanding. Some are images of manuscripts that will be appearing for the first time in print.
The subjects vary in length and depth, including:
• The complexities of prostate surgery
• The uses and parameters of hearing aids
• An encyclopaedic collection of Halacha relating to teeth
• The importance of the right side in Jewish law and custom
• An overview of the ramifications of sleeping on Shabbos
• The inner dimensions of always beginning with something positive
• In-depth analysis of Rabbi Yehuda Hachasid’s Sefer Chassidim and his Tzava’ah
• The requirements of a ring used for marriage
• A practical, working, definition of the contemporary size of a Gris in Taharas Hamishpacha is established with new evidence and more.
Printed and available in Eretz Yisrael, they are now also available in Crown Heights seforim stores, Kehos and also via this link.
