For thousands of Shluchim around the globe, their biggest challenge is educating their children. For many Shluchim’s children, their day school education does not provide the skills needed to thrive in Mesivta. And so, a downward spiral begins. The feeling of inadequacy and not belonging can profoundly affect the wellbeing of these children, causing untold emotional pain with long-term repercussions.
Your Torah Tutors is a Chabad Mosed with a unique program helping children across the globe and from all backgrounds to develop their skills in a fun and exciting way. YTT’s exceptional online tutoring program guides and supports students in developing expertise in Chumash and Gemara, instilling in them the confidence to thrive throughout High School, Mesivta, Seminary, Yeshiva, and beyond. Instead of struggling to keep up, they will be ready to flourish and grow.
For one young shliach, YTT transformed his entire education. His father shared their story.
“Being on Shlichus, we put our son in our local day school. As much as he thrived within school socially, we felt like he was missing the opportunity of really being challenged. The academic level of our Judaic program was just not what we thought would adequately prepare him for a Yeshiva setting. As the years passed, we saw that his confidence in being able to learn independently was decreasing.
Unfortunately, we did not have the teacher resources in our community to give our son the extra guidance we would have liked. When we learned about YYT, we knew we had found the missing link we needed for our son to succeed.
When asked if he would like the opportunity to learn one-on-one with someone who can prepare him for Yeshiva and give him the tools he needed to succeed in learning, he was so excited. Every day he would look forward to his sessions. The prizes were a great motivation to keep him on top of his Chazarah. YTT not only taught our son the skills he needed, but also gave him the confidence he needed to realize he could learn Chumash all on his own. This led to greater participation in all his classes in school. When he was able to translate a Passuk entirely on his own, the excitement was unreal. YYT was an excellent investment for my son, and I am forever grateful.”
There are hundreds of Shluchim’s children who need the support of YTT. Recognizing this urgent need, the Shluchim.Fund will be launching a campaign to ensure that every Shliach’s child who could benefit from YTT’s incredible program will have the funds necessary to do so.
