The Bar Mitzvah of Moshe Holtzberg, the son of Rabbi Gabi and Rivky Holtzberg HYD, who were murdered in the terror attack at the Chabad House in Mumbai, is fast approaching.
Moshe’s Bar Mitzvah will take place on Beis Kislev, and a group of relatives of the Holtzbergs has a unique gift planned in honor of the momentous occasion, that the Lubavitch community worldwide can participate in as well.
Relatives of the family are working on gathering stories of children around the world named after Moshe’s parents, kedoshim Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg z”l.
If anyone has a son or daughter named after them, you have the opportunity to be part of this beautiful and impactful project by emailing the name, location of the child, a photo, description, age of the child and the inspiration behind the name.
A beautiful bound book with pictures will be presented to Moshe for his upcoming Bar Mitzvah on Beis Kislev, Dec. 1st. The organizers really appreciate participant’s cooperation and wish nachas and only joy to all.
Please email all details with photos to Gabiandrivky@gmail.com to be included in this beautiful gift.
That is the only possible comment.
I wasn’t from a Chabad background. But I was 15 when the events happened, and so vividly remember the call for all Jewish women to light candles in their honor to dispel darkness. Those words have never left me. I never had the chance to encounter Gabi & Rivky a’h, yet I think of them often. They inspire me every day.
