Kashrus: Be In The Know is an organization that was created with the intention to increase kashrus awareness and provide consumers with a knowledge of basic halacha, as well as important information regarding how foods are manufactured and processed. With this information, consumers are able to make educated choices when buying products.
Although the classes are given by Rabbis who both work in respectable hashgachos, and have a depth of knowledge in Halacha as well as the food industry, the classes given do not reflect the opinions of the agencies they work for. It also does not in any way replace asking questions to a Rav. All consumers are encouraged to reach out to their Rav when deciding on personal Kashrus standards.

This is so helpful especially for those on shlichus!
Ny nutritionist told me about cheese sticks in trader Joe’s that have a hechsher but not cholov yisroel. I looked in the trader Joe’s near my office but didn’t find anything. Shelves were a little empty that day. Have any info about this??
Are the almond butter filled pretzels pas yisrael?
There are no grains in there and therefore doesn’t need a pas Yisroel. It only needs an ou or ok hechsher
This list is so helpful regarding the pas and cholov Yisroel.
Is there a way I can find an updated list on ALL kosher items sold at trader Joe’s? Sometimes all an item needs is an ou or ok or any other hechsher and wouldn’t fall under the category of pas or cholov Yisroel and I have no way of knowing if it’s kosher
Also all the seasonal items (there’s a ton of pancake mixes that are dairy free. Any of those kosher?)
