Since its launch last week, the “A Special Anniversary” – celebrating 90 years of Yud Daled Kislev – curriculum has been met with major success with over 80 schools and 16,430 children benefiting from it in just 6 days! Now available for YOUR school and YOUR family!
Schools across the world from Australia to Postville, Los Angeles to Paris, have used it to bring the details of the Rebbe’s wedding to life for children and teens giving each student an understanding and appreciation of this year’s important milestone anniversary and how it personally impacts each of them as Chassidim.
Though Yud Daled Kislev is already upon us, it is not too late for teachers and principals to bring the curriculum to their schools! Download it here.
The curriculum was developed under the guidance of Rabbi Elkanah Shmotkin at JEM, and written by Mrs. Devora Krasnianski, in conjunction with Vaad Or V’chom Hahiskashrus. The project was spearheaded by Rabbi Mendel Shemtov.
“The ‘A Special Anniversary’ curriculum not only crystallized the entire story of the Rebbe’s Chasuna to the Talmidim, it also gave them an understanding and appreciation of what transpired and what the significance of the day is,” shared Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, principal at Oholei Torah. “Following the presentation, the talmidim were inspired to take upon themselves a new Hachlata as a gift to the Rebbe in honor of the milestone anniversary.”
Download today a beautiful multimedia presentation that in just 20 minutes will give your students a complete and inspiring account of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s wedding that is sure to inspire them and give them a meaningful experience of hiskashrus to the Rebbe.

Family Farbrengen
In response to numerous requests, and energized by the tremendous positive feedback received, a new version of the curriculum has been made for parents, geared towards your supper table.
We have put together a multimedia presentation that includes video, powerpoint slides and easy-to-read commentary for you to share with your children after which they will feel as though hey attended the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s wedding. Additionally, we encourage your family to join the global movement of giving the Rebbe spiritual “Matanos” in honor of this milestone anniversary, and have included a “Letter to the Rebbe” template for your boys and girls to use as well as a link to add your family’s “Matanos” to a collection of Matanos that are being given from children throughout the world.

In honor of the ninetieth anniversary of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s wedding, JEM has published a selection of resources and presentations related to this day.
– The Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s wedding was held amidst grand celebrations in Warsaw, Poland in 1928. This is a special video presentation highlighting the events surrounding the wedding and its implications for us today. To get a high resolution file to show this video at a public viewing, please email jem@jemedia.org
– Early Years, published by Kehot, investigates the details, and tells the amazing story of the lead up to the marriage, the wedding itself, and the celebrations that followed. These events alone span over 150 pages in the book, including published accounts, personal diaries, as well as manuscripts and photos.
– The Rebbe spoke about the significance of this day in a number of talks. JEM’s Ashreinu app highlights those talks and offers the audio recordings of the events.
